Use this page to start your assessment or come back to it. You need the access code you were given when you registered.
What you see on this page
- An Access code field. Type or paste your code here. Hover over the field label to see a short note explaining what the code is.
- An Enter assessment button that takes you to your assessment.
- A short note on the left explaining what the code is.
- A message reminding you that some codes are personal and some are shared by your invigilator.
If the page shows an error, it appears in red at the top.
How to start your assessment
- Find the access code you were given. It may be on paper, in an email, or shown by your invigilator.
- Click in the Access code box.
- Type or paste the code. If you were given a full link, paste that instead. The page will pick out the code for you.
- Select Enter assessment.
If the code is correct, your assessment opens. If it is not, you see a message asking you to check the code.
Joining a live session
If your code is for a shared session, the page may ask for your name and email address. This lets the invigilator know who you are.
If you were given a join link instead of a code, opening it takes you straight to the registration form. You do not need to select Enter assessment first.
Once the session is recognised, the form shows the assessment name and your access code above the name and email fields. The code is shown for reference and cannot be edited here. Select Use a different access code if you need to change sessions.
- Enter the code as above, or open your join link.
- When the form asks, type your first name and last name.
- Type your email address.
- Select Register for session.
You are then taken to your assessment.
What to do if you get stuck
- Code not recognised — check that you have copied every letter and number.
- You cannot find your code — speak to your invigilator or the person who registered you.
- You see "Request validation failed" — refresh the page and try again.
- "We could not register you with these details. If you were given an access link, use it, or speak to the invigilator." — this email address cannot be registered with this code, has already finished and has no attempts left, or has started and your organisation does not let you carry on by registering again. Use your own access link, or speak to your invigilator.
Your code is linked to you and only works for your assessment. Do not share it with anyone else.
